During a standard service we carry out a visual inspection of the boiler and its installation, checking for corrosion, leaks and wear; remove the casing to inspect the internal components; check gas pressure and flow so the boiler burns correctly; and run a flue gas analysis to confirm safe, efficient combustion. We test the safety devices and controls, check and clear the condensate pipe if needed, and check the seals and overall condition. If anything needs attention we explain it clearly and quote before doing any extra work.

What a full strip-clean adds
A full strip-clean service goes much further for boilers that need it. We strip down the key components and clean them properly, and typically replace the combustion chamber seals and the ignition or flame electrode, recharge the expansion vessel, and clean the heat exchanger. It restores performance on older or neglected boilers that a standard service alone cannot. Because the work depends on the make and model, we price it individually.
A full strip-clean service goes much further for boilers that need it.
